• Joined Loyola College June 1971 and completed B.Sc. Chemistry in March 1975.
• Joined Food Corporation of India in October 1975. Worked in Shipping division and had
  opportunity to meet with some of our classmates who joined SISCO and carried foodgrains from
  USA, Canada Australia. Later worked in Management Information System and was inducted as
  System Analyst into IT department at time of inception in 1995. Appointed as Nodal Officer for
  South Zone for implementation of IISFM Project which enabled the top management in New
  Delhi and Ministry of Food to have access to food grains stored in every godown (owned and
  hired) the country upto stack level to facilitate planning and movement to needy areas in the
  country. Retired from FCI in May 2013.
• Associated in organising a pilgrimage by walk from Chennai to Velankani since 1993 and
  successfully completed 26 pilgrimages up to 2019.
